Call for Mauritanian citizens in the Western Cape to register

All Mauritanian citizens living in the Western Cape are invited to register with the Honorary Consulate so that we can maintain contact and properly assist them when the need arises.

Please complete the registration form with your full name, contact details, residential address and current occupation. Your registration details will be kept private and used by the Honorary Consulate to contact you and support consular assistance.

Forum for Mauritanian Communities Abroad

Mauritanian communities abroad are invited to a forum in Nouakchott on 29, 30 and 31 October 2026. The event will provide a setting for dialogue on the concerns of the Mauritanian diaspora.

The Embassy’s notice is addressed to the Mauritanian community within its diplomatic jurisdiction, including South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique, Lesotho, Mauritius, Seychelles, Eswatini, Madagascar and Zimbabwe. The forum is organised under the high patronage of President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani. Expatriate professionals and experts wishing to participate may register through the official forum website.
