On behalf of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, I warmly welcome you to the website of the Honorary Consulate of Mauritania in Cape Town, serving the Western Cape.

Our Consulate is here to listen, answer your enquiries and share information about Mauritania’s culture, tourism and business opportunities. We seek to strengthen friendship and cooperation between Mauritania and the Western Cape, supporting connections among businesses, institutions and communities.

We welcome enquiries from companies interested in Mauritania and are pleased to facilitate introductions to the appropriate partners and authorities. We also provide a point of contact for Mauritanian nationals seeking information and guidance.

The Honorary Consulate does not issue visas or passports or authenticate documents. We can assist with routing such requests through the Embassy of Mauritania in Pretoria.
